RAMSEY BUSINESS HIGHLIGHTS
A Work of Heart Counseling is a private psychotherapy practice in the heart of Ramsey on Franklin Turnpike, owned by Kara Kushnir, MSW, LCSW. Going to therapy can feel overwhelming or anxiety provoking at first, so Kara and her practice pride themselves in offering "modern therapy to modern families," as they want the therapeutic process to be an accessible, genuine, down to earth partnership where real growth and progress can occur. A Work of Heart specializes in working with individuals struggling with anxiety or depression, emotional or behavioral difficulties in children/teens, self-esteem building, siblings and parents of children with disabilities, chronic illness, LGBTQ+ youth and families, or individuals simply looking to find emotional relief. A Work of Heart offers after-school, evening and weekend appointments so that they can be accessible no matter how busy your family's schedule is!
