The Ramsey Public Education Foundation (RPEF) is pleased to announce the 7th Annual Sprint for Our Schools 5K & Family Fun Run, taking place on May 9, 2020. We are seeking sponsors for this high-visibility event, which is well-attended by the local community and beyond.
Event sponsorship offers outstanding exposure to the Ramsey and Saddle River communities while supporting an important cause – children’s education. This USATF sanctioned race attracts about 1,000 runners and spectators. Last year, the event raised more than $25,000 for Ramsey schools. We anticipate another successful run this year with the continued support of our generous community.
RPEF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created to enhance the quality of our children’s education by funding exceptional programs that would otherwise remain beyond the reach of the school budget. The Foundation provides grants for technology, arts, and science programs in our five public schools. We are successful in these endeavors only through the combined efforts of families, friends, and business leaders such as you.
Business patronage is integral to the success of this event. To join us and take advantage of the opportunity to sponsor Sprint for Our Schools, please complete and return the enclosed paperwork so that we can immediately include your company in all race-related publications and advertising. Sponsorship deadlines vary due to advertising opportunities, which include Gold, Silver and Bronze levels. New this year is the opportunity to have your logo on half of a mile marker flag and/or to sponsor a water table. These opportunities are limited and will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
This year we will be partnering with the nonprofit Soles4Souls, by asking our runners and those in the community to donate gently used shoes which will then be distributed to those in need around the world.
